New Day!

Well, I did two things toward my sucky writing today. I began brainstorming the new idea that felt kinda blah-ish today, and pushed myself to write the first scene of Tide of Darkness. Of course, it ended up being 5 pages (yay, my daily goal) but only 997 words (suuuccks!). I’m mentally pooped and need a plan for tomorrow. Even though I know the next scene is in Brody’s POV, I do not know where he is or what he’s doing. I’m not a pantser, and I like it that way for a reason. So, I’m not moving forward until I have at least the next 5 chapters outlined. I may even work on the blah-ish idea after dinner. And speaking of which, I think the fish is burning. Catch ya later!

You can do it! In NY count, 1K is only 4 pages…keep that in mind.

Well that does sound a lot better than 997 words at 5 pages.
