Today is a very special day.  It’s my special day!

It’s my birthday!!!

Yes, I know I’m no longer a kid, but something about my b-day makes me happy and giddy and want to twirl in a poufy skirt and heels.  Round and round until I’m dizzy and fall down in fits of laughter.

It didn’t matter that today was also Mother’s Day (and I’m a mom).  That’s a man-made day which means about as much as most other holidays–Nothing!!! :D  But my special day is mucho important because it’s all mine. LOL

And I spent the day exactly how I love–”alone” and doing nothing. 

Yesterday, my fiance cooked me breakfast and we spent time together.  Today, all I wanted were the kids to stay inside and play, and allow me a day where I didn’t have to keep one ear on outside (no one was out anyway), and I could write or play or just veg in front of the TV.  I did all three.
