Romance Divas
The prize giving is almost done for the day. It’s been a crazy time. Especially today because so much else was going on in my personal life. Kid related drama. And drunk neighbors.
But anyway…
The prizes are flying out the door.

Romance Divas
OMG, I’m having a blast at Romance Divas giving away the door prizes for their Not Going to Conference Conference.
The divas are hysterical (as in funny). I love their excitement and comments.
I may be tired as heck from barely any sleep last night, but I am having a ball!!!

Writing
I started today making Spoonbread. Never heard of it before but found the recipe last night. It was decent. My daughter loved it most. My son least. Nothing unusual there.
I’m also doing laundry and haven’t a clue about dinner. I’m also at this spot where I don’t know what to do for the rest of my day. I haven’t brainstormed in a while. I finished the character dossiers and didn’t immediately get back into their journeys. I thought of doing that tonight, but I won’t be able to get back to it until Sunday and by then I’ll have “gotten out of it” in my head. So better to just start Sunday.
I should finish the next scene of my WIP. *eyeroll* Ok, I’ll do that after this post. I should also precook four days worth of food, lol, but don’t have that much in the house. I need to go shopping this weekend.
Tomorrow through Saturday is Romance Divas Second Annual Not Going to Conference Conference (NGTCC), and I am giving away 80 door prizes. I kinda need to make a semi-plan tonight, so that is also on the agenda. Ok, so I do know what to do now.
Oh, and I discovered Twitter yesterday. Yes, another way to draw me away from all that needs to be done.

Writing
I haven’t been posting the way I use to. I guess partly it’s due to not wanting to constantly repeat myself in terms of “wrote my pages today” or “didn’t write my pages today” or “spent evening brainstorming new book”, etc. How many of those boring, uneventful posts can one blog hold?
However, I also don’t like staying gone. It’s too easy to go back to only posting once a month, and this part of my life is too precious for that.
So, here I am with another uneventful, boring post.
Bet ya can’t wait until tomorrow’s, huh?

Writing
Today, I mailed out my homeschooling application and summary (finished them last night) and my character dossiers for the new book. Yay! As much as I love plotting and outlining, I hate creating character profiles. I find it tedious. But it’s done, and I couldn’t be happier.
This means, however, I put off working on the WIP, but I plan to get back to it soon. Next week is Romance Divas’ NGTCC, and I will be handing out prizes for those four days. I don’t plan on getting much else done, so I may not get back to the WIP until Aug. 3. Then on the 4th I plan on hooking up with a bunch of other girls and creating out suspense group. But no matter how long that takes me or how detailed it becomes, I will definitely be back to the WIP by or on the 4th.

Homeschool
This time of year, I need to send the school district an educational plan for the next school year and a narrative summary of the last. Normally, it’s a day of aggravation. Today it’s been a day or aggravation with a night of hand-breaking to come. Yep. My printer is broken, dead, and I now have to print a six-typewritten page. Ugh! Then send it out. I hate this time of year. I hate the waiting too. There is no reason to worry about their approving my request to homeschool next year, but I always do. Then I receive the approval, breathe a sigh of relief and not think or deal with them for another year. Can’t wait until that feeling comes.

Software
I spent most of yesterday reading the very confusing tutorials to Liquid Story Binder.
It was a free giveaway at GiveawayaDay. How fantastic! It had been mentioned on Romance Divas not but a week or two ago, and me being a sucker for software, I downloaded it, but the learning curve seemed too steep for something I’d only have for 30 days.
Now that I have it for good, it’s well worth it.
I only have to really learn it now. LOL That should take some time.
