Dare Night — young adult, supernatural thriller — brainstorming stage

Seventeen year old Julie hates the dark.  Enclosed spaces aren’t high on her list of favorite places either.  So the idea of spending senior dare night stuck in some abandoned building overnight makes her skin crawl.  It’s been a tradition in her town for years, and most kids squeal at exploring a “haunted” house, the local funeral home or sleeping in the cemetery.  It didn’t matter she’d be with four other classmates.  Julie wanted nothing to do with it.  She had no choice though.

Luckily her best friend, Chana is by her side.  Unfortunately, her ex-friend Raj is too.   During the long night, they not only encounter a building of neglect and torture, but ghostly whisperings and an anger so strong they may not make it out alive.
