Dead bodies, lip gloss, bloody footprints, sparkly jewels, fingerprints, mascara, DNA analysis and purses…

Ahhh! Those are the things that excite me!

I must admit I’m not one to own anything but practical shoes (while heels are pretty, I live for comfort) and clothing shopping is my epitome of death. I do, however, adore makeup, handbags, jewelry and accessories. Toss in novels of mystery and suspense, crime shows and horror movies and my interests are quite eclectic.

It’s no surprise that my stories are filled with spunky, sarcastic girls and women with a penchant for adventure, discovering truths and righting wrongs. They may not always be too eager to romp through the cold, dark woods to catch the bad dude (however, they’re usually wearing sensible shoes), but sometimes a sleuth’s gotta do what a sleuth’s gotta do.

With each unpredictable mystery come subtle clues, devious red herrings, romance (every sleuth has to have a hero–even if she saves the day) and sometimes magical elements, all wrapped in a humorous tone.
